Ok, I read Anne Wigmore's book and she gives instructions how to build a wormery, which she claims you can easily keep in the kitchen. Now I'm not quite as adventutous as this, but I have turned the bedroom over into an indoor garden growing; wheatgrass, sunflower and buckwheat sprouts, herbs and I'm now trying lettuce. I'm in a 4th floor flat so have no access to a garden. I'd really like to be able to compost. Between the used wheatgrass mats and all the leftovers from juicing, it breaks my heart to see so much 'good' stuff simply get thrown out, while I'm having to buy compost regularly.

I was thinking of getting something like this

Now this would have to be kept in the bedroom. (Don't worry, I've moved into the sitting room to sleep to make room) Does anyone know if there's any reasoni couldn't do this indoors or if there's any better system of indoor composting?

I'm soon to be selling these excellent worm farms (http://www.gardi.co.uk/WormFarm.aspx) on the Have Raw Cake And Eat It website. In fact I am ready to sell them, just have not put them on the website yet, along with the rest of the eco living section. Prices are £47.50 (plus £5.70 delivery), or £67.50 including 1/4 kilo worms and 10 litres of bedding. You can contact me if you are interested.
