Hi and welcome, I really hope this will become a very useful section of the site for the many sufferers here in the UK :) The reason why I have included an allergy and intolerance section to a predominanatly raw food forum is that I think they complement each other, for example having had many food intolerances myself, since following a 75% raw food lifestyle I have noticed a lot of my symptoms either lessen or disappear.
Please feel free to post any of your recipes here for others to try out and maybe for variations to be offerred.
Please make sure that you reference any recipes you may have taken from books, magazines or websites as it's only fair to those that have done the initial hard work ;)
To start with it would be useful if everybody followed the same format in the title of their post, as this section gets bigger we will then hopefully categorise in the future;
A&I codes eg GF/LF/SF Name eg Chocolate cookies
This isn't going to be an exact science to start with and I welcome any suggestions, but inititially I would like to use the following codes;
GF = Gluten Free (helps Coeliacs and Wheat Intolerant)
WF = Wheat Free (helps those that are Wheat Intolerant but not Coeliacs)
LF = Lactose Free
SF = Sugar Free (for Diabetics and Candida sufferers)
NF = Nut Free (very tricky area and you have to certain)
SOF = Soya Free
YF = Yeast Free (also useful for Candida sufferers)
ShF = Shellfish Free (allergies to shellfish)
MSGF = Mono Sodium Glutamate Free
V = Vegetarian
Ve = Vegan
If you can think of any I've missed or any other suggestions for this forum then please pm me, thanks.
