Sounds good. I've got yeast flakes but never used them. Roughly how much do i add to this? Any ideas I mean I'm so clueless I don't know whether to add a teaspoonful or half a packet. :-)

My Sunflower Pate or if a bit more water is added sauce mmmm
made it today for lunch and smothered a huge pile of broccoli & just had that!!

1 cup sprouted sunflower seeds (soak over night, put in net bag hang in window..voila a few hours go by and they have all sprouted!)
1 garlic clove
1 tblsp Braggs Aminos
1 very large Tblsp White Miso

blend and add water to get to desired consistancy, I put in about half a cup, partly cause I was using the little hand stick blender with the mini chopper bowl sort of thing that came with it that has the capacity of about 2 cups!! you know the sort I mean...not enough mixture to cover & turn in the vita prep...but fills the little bowl right to the top ...LOL

I use all Miso I can get my hands on the sweet white is a favorite as it transforms both sweet & savory foods xx

White miso is brillaint in almost everything. I wonder if you can have too much?!

Good savoury drink for winter: any miso with hot water and minced veg. Like bovril but better.

when sprouting sunflower seeds do you use seeds still with the black husk on, or can you sprout them from just the kernal?

never tried to sprout with the husk on but I expect it would be fine as that is what nature intended!!! I sprout the kernels xx

I've sprouted both of them. I use just the kernals for recipies but Ann Wigmore's book on sprouting suggests sprouting and planting the unhulled ones. They grow about 5 inches and make great additions to salads. (presumably you could keep on growing them but i heard they taste bitter if they get too big)
