Raw Jersey Milk
05-12-2009, 01:26 PM
Hi there, I'm representing a Raw Jersey Milk Producer looking to sell Raw Jersey Milk in the London area.
The farmer's name is Keith Jefferson Smith, and has a herd of pasture fed cattle. The cows are known individually (by name!) and are very well looked after. They are milked just twice a day to give the best quality milk. The only treatment the cows’ receive is fly treatment three times a year, otherwise the milk is entirely organic - the cows are only treated if they fall ill. The milk is extremely creamy and full of goodness, due to its raw nature. We have an open farm policy and welcome visitors, please use the email below to arrange a visit should you wish.
Please check out www.realmilk.com (http://www.realmilk.com/) for a wealth of informative studies on benefits of raw milk, and why they deem it superior to pasteurised and homogenised milk. Studies shown on the site indicate improvements in many illnesses and conditions including eczema, allergies, diabetes and more. There is also information on the presence of good bacteria (many of which they sell in those expensive little bottles!), the increased nutrient content and even weight loss inducing effects of raw milk.
We are looking to supply the whole of the Greater London area with raw milk deliveries, and also potentially Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford, Colchester and Ipswich, providing we can make the trips economical.
If you might be interested in deliveries or trying our milk please email: rawjerseymilk@googlemail.com
Nationwide Deliveries are also available from Red23 at red23.co.uk
There are also some links here - a video of Keith’s son James with the cows at the farm:

and some brief words from Keith in an article in 'The Ecologist' (he no longer sells at Walthamstow market):
