Yesterday's Pot Luck at Karen's was fantastic and the array of foods was amazing. Karen's houmous was the best I have ever tasted and if anyone hears of a cheap Rhino going spare, please email me because I need to make houmous that smooth. Needless to say, Rhino is top of the Christmas wish list now! I am always amazed when I watch Karen in the kitchen, she is like a whirlwind that creates this divine and heavenly food in seconds - and no mess afterwards either! Karen = Wonderwoman!

Ruth made these amazing Jammy Dodgers - need a better name for them really, they were so cute with little heart cut outs in the middle and filled with some delicious raw berry mixture. I am ordering some for Christmas presents and I am sure everyone else would love some they are so perfect and freezable too. Anything to help me stick with more Raw over the festive season is good!

It would be great to have a Christmas Shop Pot Luck near to 25th December as possible (hint to Karen and Ruth if you have any spare time left!), because I just know we would all love to buy things to make our lives easier at Christmas. Karen's mince pies are also top of my list to have with that divine Coconut Booja Booja Ice Cream.

Dodge the jam and eat my fruity raw heart... biscuit.

Had a funny conversation with my Mum. She was asked to host a rosary group at her house and didn't know what to give them for refreshments. I said I'd send her some appropriate biscuits, and re-named them, 'Biscuits of the Sacred Heart.' Suitably liturgical with a touch of mischief. I'm sure Jesus doesn't mind!! It actually made us weep with laughter at the other, 'religious, raw and righteous' biscuits I could come up with.

If you would like it I believe I could make some treat-type food for Christmas(including the biscuits!) to sell at the next pot luck (although I am saving quite a lot for the Christmas chocolate feast!) As long as it doesn't detract from the beauty of what pot lucks are supposed to be; that is, us all feeding each other for free!

If people want a bit of enterprise I am happy to oblige, especially if it makes staying raw over Christmas easier.

If there anything that people would particularly like?

How many is a ton then Jax?!!

I am also making some Christmassy chocolates, the marizpan ones included, chocolate version of the biscuits and some mini christmas pudding sweets. They actually taste like christmas pud but with superfoods and molten choc on top. Do you think people will want to buy that sort of thing?

Funnily enough I was going to make my own mince pies this week with a 'slightly' alcoholic cream to go with them. Would you buy that from me too?! Well I'll just make as much as possible. I warn you though, these items cost more than conventional versions, especially if I use superfoods! Thank God they are so filling that you need less!

By the way, if you think those bicuits and chocolates were good you are going to go nuts about what I'm making for the feast, so please do come. I've managed to make raw fererro rochers; proper cream truffles; and even feullitine in praline; plus something than tastes, according to my Mum, just like those minty biscuits called, 'Solos.'

Ooooh, Ruth, I've just read you have made raw Fererro Rochers, WOW! I'm not a choc-o-holic as you now but these (with Maltesers!) are (were!!!) my Xmas treat each year. It will be worth coming to your feast on 3rd Jan just for these alone!

Re selling your raw chocs/biccies & whatever else at next Pot Luck (6th Dec) - yes please to you and Karen. I have a type 2 diabetic friend I'd like to treat & would buy some other bits for friends for Xmas to introduce them to RAW! I loved your pineapple/sea buckthorn 'ribbon' & pear/spirulina etc 'grass' you made for your birthday tea party, so would also purchase any spares of that sort youmay have & will be willing to pay full price as I know just HOW much some of your creations cost to put together. When I get my dehydrator in the New Year I will experiment for future Pot Luck events. Thanks.

I am a Southampton newbie to the forum/semi-newbie to raw .....I was eating regular diet back in February and had never even heard of raw!! I would love to buy myself a few raw munchies to inspire me and keep me as healthy as possible over Christmas/New Year..... anything at all really! Raw food is what I want for Christmas!

I am very lucky to have happened upon this forum and local raw folks.
