I have been raw for about 2 months now, had about 1 week where I ate properly combined food but cooked and then went back to raw.
I have been mainly eating Green Smoothies every morning after exercice then Green salads for lunch, having few snacks in between then salady stuff for dinner.
Some days I feel incredible and some days I feel foggy and a lot of light headedness/head rush everytime I get up but that has not occured in the last week, also just kind of not with it, usually the answer to that is "detox"?
I have lost a bit of weight even though I was skinny when I started, hope don't turn out like the machinist in a few weeks and start to grow some real healthy body fat.
I do feel much cleaner, more alive, motivated, focused, ambitious in general in comparison to my previous SAD.

My question is this, what are the types of deficencies to look out for when embarking cold turkey into the raw world, any tricks tips. It does take a lot of time to adjust to this new way of eating. I'm sure it will become second nature the more it lasts.
Overall, it's an awesome pure experience in every possible way, hard to explain.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

And another :welcome: to the site and well done for going straight into doing a diary - something I still need to do http://www.rawinuk.com/images/icons/icon11.gif

It does sound like detox that you're going through, I know when I detoxd from the anti candida diet, I felt worse but then felt a lot better later on.

I think that convenience with raw can be tricky, you notice more that everywhere sells inferior food or totally cooked foods, so choice is limited unless you live near one of the lovely outlets that sells raw dishes! Also I find I'm having to be more organised and planning what I eat instead of what I feel like having. But thankfully I don't feel alienated now I've found others that are living the same way :victory:
