She's just been led into surgery by the nurse - I'm now waiting for the phone call to tell me she's finished :)

Jax is hopefully snuggled up in bed in the care of the nurses. The op went well and the DVD of it is just amazing. She'll be out tomorrow :)

Glad it all went well.
Awww many thanks you guys!!!
LOL yes they did both knees at once, and the DVD of the op is amazing. My consultant was surprised by the amount of damage in both joints and said I wasn't moaning about nothing with the pain I've been experiencing. When my mates' husband watched the DVD he said it was like looking at a coral reef, with all the anenomes tentacles wafting about and bits floating past..........erm none of which is meant to be there, and apparently I'm down to bone in some places. Which means I won't be a gazelle apparently, and won't be going back to jogging :pout: So I'm a bit disappointed, but if the pain lessens and I can go up inclines easier I guess that's better than it was.
I've been taking it very easy for me, I have done the stairs a couple of times with crutches and banksmen :5387:;) and managed my first shower yesterday :638:
Oh and I did sneak in some Rocky Road and those biscuits you gave me Karen, flippin lovely thanks!
Just to say I had my week check up with the physio today, she says I've done really well but must be careful not to over do it........which may be why the right one is still filled with fluid. Oh and I'm not able to straighten the left enough :pout:
hi hun
hope your knees are happy now :)
see you tomorrow x
