Healthful Cuisine by Dr Anna Maria Clement of Hippocrates
One of the most overlooked recipe books out there. This book is fabulous - I only wish I had found it sooner. You can obtain from The Fresh Network in the UK and they do have the second edition, although the photo they advertise is of the first edition.

There is a Cure for Diabetes by Dr Gabriel Cousens
This is a great book even if you don't have Diabetes! Lots of really interesting information and Dr Gabriel is so knowledgable on this subject, it really is a must read. Love his work.

Life Force by Dr Brian Clement
This book is a great intro to everything Hippocrates, great recipes and a wealth of information on living the Hippocrates lifestyle at home. Really gives a good insight into how to progress on a Live Food diet and where to start.

Hi Claire can I ask if you have diabetes?

Yes, Type 1 for 22 years. Major improvements since being Raw and I'm just starting to find the right raw path for me. Gabe Cousens books are fantastic and Brian Clement's. I'm still deciding how many times to eat each day - I seem to be doing well on one Green Juice, a bid Salad for lunch and then just a snack late afternoon.

Does anyone else have Diabetes??

I only asked as somebody pointed in your vague direction and said about diabetes as I'd mentioned Sharon's story (http://www.rawinuk.com/showthread.php?p=712#post712) from here......which I see you've already found ;) Amazing isn't it?
