What an inspiring day! :)

There was a great mix of people who had differing raw experience, some very new to it and some that have already set out on their journey. Rian (Hippocrates trained) expertly conveyed the harm that some of the everyday accepted 'foods' can do to our bodies and how the marketing machine loves to hide the harmful facts thus tricking people into thinking their products are awesome.

We had an expert demonstration from Karen who explained how to make raw coconut milk and then made a raw pizza and chocolate cake in front of us. We got to eat the pizza at lunch, along with a green salad, sprout salad, nori rolls, houmous and curry courgette noodles made by Rian and her team.............it was far more than I could eat, but everybody else tucked right in ;)

We had an opportunity to buy some of Karen's lovely products, Nori crackers and Kale crisps from Rian, and few other products to assist our healthy nutrition. Then in the final part of the day we had the chance to 'grill' Rian with our questions and observations that we've discovered along the way, and a great collective of experiences coming together about all aspects of life. And we came away with a newspaper goodie bag with some sachets of foods, pencil and a copy of the Get Fresh magazine.

It was a really great day and I personally look forward to the next one, hopefully at the Retreat ;)

PS Hopefully there's some photos to follow!
