I've been raw for about 2 years, loving every mouthful.:)
Really found some bits tough...giving up wheat was nearly impossible now it makes me very ill, so I no longer miss it. Have found some things more enjoyable than I ever thought possible, love parties & christmas. We (hubby & son) and a friend & family spent last christmas with a picnic on the beach...bournemouth, so amazing. Came to Raw food as went Vegan for lots of reasons mostly as I have studied Agriculture and modern farming for a long time figured that I needed to have good Karma from what I ate, and that does not come from tractors & chemicals... found that the heavy processed vegan diet made me ill so with in a week of going vegan I went 70+% raw am now 99% raw only eating occasional maple syrup or yeast flakes or nori (yes even untoasted nori is heated beyond the critical 115 f!!) have found levels of raw vary person to person, my hubby is best on 75-80% and my 3 year old 50% that includes breast milk. This is a journey that I will never U turn on...it's too good, too fantastic...of course there are flaws, I don't look like kate moss & no matter how little I eat, and I cant stand Noni & Maca, but compared to joint pain, arthritis, diabeties, dandruff, stretch marks, bad breath, sweat, hypertension, fatigue, reflux, poor bowls....etc....I think I know now the right Raw life for me xxxxx
