I found reading many books on this subject quite confusing, so I would probably just try sticking to one and seeing if that method worked, and then if not, THEN reading another to see if that works.
This book was great and Schepper seems to be quoted by many but I'm not sure if he is considered an authority on the subject. The only section I wasn't sure on was the pschological part, but that might just be me, it just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the book.
The 'profile of a killer disease' was fascinating and worrying at the same time as it's just not be recognised by GP's and they are the first port of call, and sometimes the feeders of the problem if they willy nilly hand out the antibiotics that can cause the problem in the first place!
