Hopefully some ideas here for those that have asked for when on the tough candida eradicating regime. I found that being a vegetarian AND having candida was very tricky, and in the end raw vegan nutrition (in above section of this site) got me through far better than trying to find alternatives to dishes. There is absolutely no reason why you can't use some of the raw recipes and perhaps add meat that you can eat to the dish, so long as it's organic and doesn't contain antibiotics.
One bit of advice I read somewhere that hadn't I thought of, was not eating leftovers left in the fridge as mould spores can accumulate on the food if not covered (you won't see them easily with the eye), and to cover and cool food immediately, then freeze if eating at a later date. Apparently the yeasts feed on mould, sugars and fermented or staling foods.
I have also read somewhere that you shouldn't eat yeast............and then that it is okay to eat yeast as yeast doesn't feed on itself?? I guess it's whichever school of thought you are going to follow really. I cut out yeast in the elimination period, and only have small amounts now and then now..............I used to love Marmite! :(
Cheese is meant to be a no no too, but the raw cheeses could be an idea................although it may depend on the nut that is used, there is one that uses pine nuts and I don't think I read anything bad about them.
