Hi everyone
My name is Annette and I live in Cambridge with my husband and 2 small children. We turned to raw food when my son started to suffer from severe nappy rash as a small baby. I saw a nutritional therapist who recommended we turn to a high raw, vegan diet and eat more alkalising foods. We did and have remained on that journey ever since. I have now set up a website with raw food and transitional food recipes with child friendly food, an online shop and some attachment parenting information.

Hi Annette and welcome :)

That's interesting about the nappy rash with your son and raw food improving it, I wish I had had that advice when my youngest was a baby as he suffered with it too (got by with somebody telling me to use starch instead of the usual creams)........and then went on to have eczema on his hands and chin which seems to be linked to cows milk. I don't know why but I always felt the two problems were linked.

Hi Annette,
I have been wanting to say thank you for your beautiful website! It is one of the best (and best looking, plus easiest to use) raw UK sites I have come across... and with recipes that I will want to make again and again. I made your signature chocolate cake and it was really lovely. I prefered it to almost any other raw cake I have come across including my own. So thanks for putting your message, skill and knowledge out there. And thank you for many happy breakfast, lunch, tea and supper moments! Do you realise that when you share your recipes, people across the world are sending you love and gratitude as they eat their food! I hope you feel it!
Love to Cambridge...one of my favourite places..so beautiful!
