I can't find the link for this as it's been stored on my pc for ages, and I haven't tried it out yet either as I keep eating my avocados :o , but if anybody has or wants to..........then pleeeease give us some feedback here ;)

Mash and sieve an avocado and add a few drops of lemon juice to stop it discolouring.
Add 1tsp liquid honey, mix together and apply to skin, leaving on as long as possible.
It apparently counteracts the drying effects of the sun, softens, moisturises and nourishes the skin.

I have another recipe for this in David Wolfe's Eating for Beauty (http://www.rawinuk.com/showthread.php?t=110) book, so here it is for those of you who like me, can't get a copy of this book :rolleyes:

For dry skin - Puree a ripe avocado, adding 6-7 drops of freshly squeezed orange juice, then mix in 1tbsp of hemp oil. Massage into face and neck, lie down and relax for 20-30 mins, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Apparently has excellent effects on any part of the skin.

Here's another recipe for a nourishing face mask from Feeding Your Skin;

Combine 1 egg yolk, 1/2 an avocado, a bunch of fresh coriander, 1tbs of orange juice, 1tbs of natural yoghurt and 1 tsp of rosehip oil. Apply to cleansed skin for 15 mins, then rinse with warm water.
