For the past ten years I've suffered from various health problems which were always disregarded by doctors. Luckily, I'm a tenacious, stubborn sort who won't take no for an answer if I know in my heart that something is wrong. My symptoms were as follows: palpitations, an inability to feel temperatures, IBS type symptoms, depression, lethargy, rashes, disorientation. I was very poorly and depressed, not helped by the fact that no one seemed to think anything was wrong with me.

I eventually found an allergy specialist who said my immune system was in freefall and he immediately put me on vitamins and minerals.

I'm on my way back to health but I still have some problems, perhaps I always will. I now have very sensitive eyes and skin. I cannot wear anything woolly for example and my glasses are tinted. I am unable to digest fructose correctly. See link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fructose_malabsorption and stay away from all sugars as they make me feel awful. I eat a lot of raw veg but stay away from anything with a high salicylate content. (you couldn't make this up!)

If anyone needs advice on tablets and vitamins and anything else I've mentioned then I'm the person to ask, believe me. Feel free to ask questions. I'll try to answer them as best I can.

I'm in love with spirulina which has been a godsend for me and has really boosted my immune system.

Cheers Nix, I know what you mean about feeling unwell for so long.............I can trace back to 17 years ago when I started going to the doctors and not feeling the 100% that I was used to. Luckily I didn't get pumped with pills and potions, but got diagnosed all over the place which told me they really didn't know what they were doing  And I look back now and think that was the start of the whole wheat intolerance episode I went through, but didn't know it until a few years later.

Thanks for your kind offer of help with tablets and vitamins, but can I just gently remind everyone that this is a forum for like minded people to find support and post our experiences, but we can not prescribe and advise like a medical forum, thanks ;)
