Green England (http://www.green-england.co.uk/) is a great little site with all things green and eco-friendly like days out, eating, and ethical companies :D

I know I am tapping into a company thread, however...Green England??
has so many uses!
Well I figured a good question to cover is one I get asked a lot
"Isn't it expensive to be Raw"
(usually I am speachless at this one!)
Do they mean, the cheap veg from the market I eat, or the small bags of seeds I get from October books (portswood highstreet, organic fairtrade cheaper than sunnyfields & waitrose)
or are they looking at my dining table when they see it laiden with apples, that we have grown or gathered, or plums we have collected from the wild trees in the woods, or nuts also gathered from the trees round our house,
maybe its the nettle wraps & sorrel crackers, the Ransoms on the salad that give the exotic volumes of food,
could it have been the sea kale & samphire from our beach harvest?
perhaps even the chantrelle mushrooms from the forest..??
it baffles & annoys me that people actually think they have to pay loads for food....
If anyone is interested in wild food, well lets see if we can rustle up some interest,
walking in the woods, or local neighbourhoods yeilds serious surprises.
Everything is available if we want it, I want truely to live on what we grow & gather.
I'm nearly there...:p
